Since Dr. Soudabeh Ahadi founded our practice in 1982, Monroe OBGYN has been caring for the women of Monroe County and Metro Detroit for more than four decades — long enough that we're now delivering babies for patients whose own mothers we cared for. What started as one physician's practice has grown into a team that covers nearly every corner of women's and family health, while keeping the thing that matters most: providers who know your name, listen to your concerns, and never make you feel rushed.

Our team is built so you rarely have to go anywhere else. Dr. Ahadi and her son, Dr. Martin Pakideh, bring generations of OB-GYN expertise, with Dr. Pakideh specializing in advanced robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Andrew Young and Dr. Melani Kekulawala, both board-certified family medicine physicians with specialized obstetrics training, care for the whole family — guiding mothers from preconception through pregnancy and delivery, then caring for baby, kids, teens, and even dads. Sarah Patterson, our women's health nurse practitioner, cares for women across the lifespan — with certified expertise in perimenopause and menopause. And nurse injector Yolanda Sanchez offers aesthetic services for patients who want to look as good as they feel.
